Janet Enzmann Archives + ARC
Janet Enzmann Archives
A very important part of what we do is to serve as stewards of the written and photographic history of Island County. The Janet Enzmann Archives and Research Library was organized by our beloved volunteer, Janet Enzmann. Janet spent thousands of hours making our archival collections organized and accessible to our public – and for this, we have memorialized our Library and Archives in her honor and memory.
Our Archives is always being improved and updated – because history never stops! It is a valuable resource for family historians, scholars, and students. Among the holdings of our archival collections are Island County diaries and journals, land claim records, newspapers, obituaries, letters, rare books, aerial photos, maps, event posters, videos, oral histories and thousands of photographs.
