Lynn Hyde is the Executive Director of Historic Whidbey, and the driving force behind the restoration of the Haller House. She has worked as a historian in many capacities throughout her life, and brings a depth of research and historical context to the story of Jimmie Jean's life. Jimmie Jean Cook was a fascinating person who was instrumental in the formation of the Central Whidbey Historic District, Ebey's Reserve, and so many other cherished parts of the community.
